Great feel. great Putter, February 21, 2011 This review is from: Odyssey Backstryke 2Ball Putter (Sports) I got this putter a month ago and my usual golf friends have all commented about the improvement in my putting. This putter has a very soft and controllable feel and if you line it up, it will go in. It really helps having the shaft "out of the way" and inspires confidence. Get one!

My first impressions were "how can anyone put with that thing" until I gave it a few strokes at a Golf Galaxy head to head with my TaylorMade Rossa Daytona, and was amazed at both the feel and stability of this putter. The weight is great, it helps me keep my hands forward, and it just seems be much easier to swing straight bacck/straight through.
Putters are so personal, and everyone likes something different though. My advice however is to at least give this one a try. Don't ignore this one simply based on it's looks, it may very well suprise you.
This is my 3rd putter, and it hasn't come out of my bag the entire last season. I bring them all out for a putter competition every frew months, and this one just stays at the top of the list for feel, accuracy, and distance control. Other putters I have include a Nike IC Mallet style and a Taylormade Rossa Daytona, neither of which are any slouches... Read more

I did not have any issues that the other reviewer had with this. I order 100+ items a year from Amazon and in 10+ years I have only had a shipping anomaly twice in 10+ years. Each time Amazon was very good about refunds and fixing the problem. I don't think it's fair to rate an item 1 star based on one bad experience not related to that item.
With that said... As far as a golf club goes, I'm pretty excited about this putter. It has a great feel and easy to swing and aim. Right now I'm just putting in the basement with it - I cannot wait to get it on the greens this spring.
