Solved my 3 iron "handicap", October 1, 2011 By This review is from: NIKE Machspeed 3 Hybrid (Sports) I've always had problems hitting my 3 iron, probably like lot of people. I've been trying to find a solution for it and I tried several of the more popular hybrids out there (Wilson, Cobra, Callaway and Nike). It turned out that I had more consistency and considerable distance with the Nike Machspeed SQ hybrid! Of the 4 that I tried, I believe the Nike one is the heaviest of the bunch, as well as having the most compact head. I think that the fact that it had a lot of weight behind a smaller face makes it keeps its trajectory more constantly, regardless of what it has to go through to get to the ball. I can routinely hit it over 200 yards if I hit it squarely. I believe got to 225 yards a couple of times, which is more than fine by me distance-wise. I also love the new types of cap for the club as well! Very easy to put it on and remove when you need it! Basically, it's like night and day between my new hybrid vs my old 3 iron! Highly recommended!
machspeed, March 18, 2012 By This review is from: NIKE Machspeed 3 Hybrid (Sports) i won the 3 and 4 machspeed hybrids in a golf tournament yesterday and i owned other hybrids before i got theese and i will say that even after just a day of hitting them, they are by far the best hybrids i have ever hit. each time i hit the ball it looks like a laser shooting down the middle of the fairway. but the head of the club is probably a little bit more heavier than youre average hybrid but that helps you build clubhead speed which makes your ball spring of the club. HIGHLY recommend theese clubs they are great clubs and you cant beat the price!
